I Dream of Halloween
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2015/01/a-poem-by-multi-talented-arlene-sander.html
Monday, January 26, 2015. A Poem by the multi-talented Arlene Sander of dreamedbyarlene. You can find Arlene at dreamedbyarlene.blogspot.com, on Facebook, and in the Facebook Halloween Art group Every Witch Way Lane. Arlene is one of my kindred Halloween spirits! I'm not so young anymore The time does not fly. I find myself watching As the days roll slowly by. I watch as the frozen winter Melts away into spring. I watch as the spring flowers fade And the summer takes wing. That will mark the big night.

I Dream of Halloween: Sisters of Gloom
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2011/07/sisters-of-gloom.html
Monday, July 25, 2011. They're causing a fright. Flying past the moon. Three Sisters set free. A real sight to see. Upon their enchanted brooms. The kiddies all hide. But secretly wish they could ride. Through the sky with a zoom. Hitting the ground with a boom. The porch lights go out. Even the grown ups do shout. Locking themselves in their rooms. The black cats however. Are not afraid, never. They'll be greeting the gang of three soon. They don't wish to hide. Hopefully joining the ride. 4 My house, w...

Thursday, January 15, 2015. The Poem that Broke my Two and a half year Poetry Block. From the corner of my eye. A shadow slithers by. As it moves under my chair. An icy chill fills the air. I jump up with a start. And I grab at my heart. Running with all my might. Out into the night. Thanks for stopping by. I Dream of Halloween: THE OLD HOUSE ON THE HILL by cindy tevis
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2010/05/old-house-on-hill-by-cindy-tevis.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. THE OLD HOUSE ON THE HILL by cindy tevis. There's an old house on the hill. No one lives there but still. At midnight the neighbors all hear. Sounds guaranteed to strike fear. Sneak up to the window, look inside, take a peek. Something is moving in the corner, don't shriek! It may be a mouse or an old alley cat. Here it comes, it's a vampire bat! Spider webs cover The dusty old chair. Making us feel we had better beware. No one lives there at least not the kind that we see. 3 My ...

I Dream of Halloween: The Something by cindy tevis
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2010/07/something-by-cindy-tevis.html
Saturday, July 31, 2010. The Something by cindy tevis. It's Halloween night and there you see. Something hiding behind the tree. Is it a goblin or a mean old witch,. Searching the limbs for the perfect switch? Maybe a ghostie floating in air. Or a creepy werewolf with lot's of hair. All you know is that you have to pass by. That "something" and then you try not to cry. Tip toeing up to the grand old oak. The something jumps out at you wearing a cloak! You scream until you run out of wind! Way to cool Cuz.

I Dream of Halloween: SPOOKY'S HALLOWEEN by cindy tevis
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2010/08/spookies-halloween.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. SPOOKY'S HALLOWEEN by cindy tevis. Spooky the cat loves Halloween. It's her favorite day of the year. Dressing up like Witchie Poo. With all of her witchy gear. Sneaking out the window on Witchie's best broom. Trying to learn how to steer. She yells at the kiddies below. As she soars through the street with a zoom. The kids can hear her blood curdling scream. Right before she lands with a boom. Hobbling home with her head hanging low. Dragging what's left of her ride. 3 My 15 ye...

I Dream of Halloween
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2015/04/another-wonderful-arlene-sanders-poem.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. Another wonderful Arlene Sander Poem! The Ace of Pumpkins - A very special tarot card box with Halloween tarot cards. An Evening At The Carnival. My girlfriends and I were out for the night To the carnival in town and the midway lit bright Good things to eat there, and rides built to thrill Games of chance and the shows, we had all evening to kill. Think of it as I shuffle, don't be timid, my dear! And so I thought carefully on what question to pose A chance for a mystery's true n...

I Dream of Halloween: The Old Banshee
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2011/03/old-banshee.html
Sunday, March 13, 2011. I hear the cry of the old Banshee. In the night as black as coal. Oh Lady do not scream for me. Come for another's soul. Tis growing nearer this I fear. I cannot bear to sleep. For when the morning light shines clear. Ye shall hear the mourners weep. Thanks for stopping by. I Dream of Halloween: TRIP THROUGH THE GRAVEYARD by Cindy Tevis
http://idreamofhalloween.blogspot.com/2010/04/trip-through-graveyard-by-cindy-tevis.html
Saturday, April 24, 2010. TRIP THROUGH THE GRAVEYARD by Cindy Tevis. Wandering along grassy paths. Stories set in stone. Tower those reduced to bone. Feeling sadness for the lost ones. That never made it home. Knowing one day I will join them. Six feet under and alone. Someone walks along my grassy path. What are they thinking of. They read my tombstone and they wonder. How much I was loved. I am no longer sad. For I know the truth is this. Our trials upon this earth are brief. April 27, 2010 at 9:04 AM.
