Devon UK Mega Event 2017. Monthly Archives: May 2015. Where does the time go. Finally after some 6 months I ventured out onto the moors, a window of opportunity arose with the weather good I spent a couple of hours geocaching. Where to go, how fit am I? Starting at the “Scout Hut” I decided to walk to “Ditsworthy Warren House” the farm house used for “War Horse”. On arriving at the house and having seen the scenes with the house, I am not admitting to have watched the film (take note).

From where I live I am fortunate to be able to see not only the television mast at North Hessary, Sheeps Tor, Brent Tor (The Church on the tor) all on Dartmoor. I can also see Caradon Television Mast the “Cheese Ring” on Bodmin Moor within Cornwall.
