We took a nice, uneventful flight from Lima to Cusco, but from there the trip was a bit more sordid. We decided to take a car to Ollantaytambo, where we’d then take a train to Aguas Calientes, the town at the base of the ruins. It was human nature at that point to get out and push the car. We needed to get to our destination. When did pitching in become optional?
