Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Pohwee Wohwee's" Aka Rolly Pollies. What a very sad day. Sophie was so excited to find a "pohwee Wohwee" and put him in his "Happy Home! According to a little 3 year old! He had to go everywhere with us including the store where all of a sudden I heard a very sad little cry and saw tears streaming down her face. "He's Died! He's Two" "I broked him! The Black Family: Child Labor???
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2012/04/child-labor.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. I've been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks. I'm also being brave and downloading a video for the first time. One day when I realized that Henry was being a little "too quiet" this is what I found. CUTE CUTE CUTE boy! Mia has a fascination with the toilet brush lately too! April 27, 2012 at 9:01 AM. Haha I love that you took video rather than stopping him. Such a cutie :-). April 27, 2012 at 4:52 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Grow Old Along with Me. . Meghan a...

The Black Family
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2009/04/happy-kidney-day-it-was-this-day-8.html
Friday, April 17, 2009. It has now been 8 years since that day, we celebrate every year. I usually make something in the shape of a kidney for dinner. We've had kidney shaped pizza, soup bowls, rice crispy treats, cookies, and so much more. It is our fun way to celebrate the day. I'm not completely sure what dinner will be tonight, but it will be crazy. The most frequent question Andrew gets about his transplant is, "Do you have to sit down now to pee now? National Organ Donation Awareness Month. I'm gla...

The Black Family: Hazel's take on Baptism
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2012/04/hazels-take-on-baptism.html
Monday, April 16, 2012. Hazel's take on Baptism. I had a good laugh the other day about the. Conversation Hazel and I had while I was washing Hazel's hair in the bathtub. Hazel: “When you get baptized is there lots of soap in the water? Mom: “No there is no soap.”. Hazel: “Is it special water? Mom: “No just plain old water.”. Hazel: “If there is no soap in the water then how does Heavenly Father wash away your sins? Aw, I miss her. and the rest of you all :-). April 16, 2012 at 4:40 PM. She is so cute!

The Black Family: Disneyland
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2012/02/disneyland.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. For Christmas Kimball asked Santa for tickets to Disneyland. Tuesday (Jan. 24): We spent the day at Disneyland. We had an early admittance pass that day, so we entered right at 9:00 in the morning. The first character that we saw that day was Mickey Mouse. How appropriate! The kids were both tall enough to ride all of the rides in Disneyland, except Hazel couldn't ride Indiana Jones. Kimball told her that she wasn't missing out on anything by not going on it because he didn'...

The Black Family: Kimball turns 8
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2012/02/kimball-turns-8_15.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2012. When I asked Kimball what kind of treat he wanted me to take to school and what kind of cake he said, "something to do with Legos." So after overnighting a Lego guy mold to us and some candy melts this is the result. . . . The kids at school loved the eatable little fellows. I love the chocolate Lego guys! They are soooo cool! I really hope Kimball knows how cool his mom is! February 15, 2012 at 5:57 PM. You are amazing Becky! What a fun idea. February 16, 2012 at 8:26 AM.

The Black Family: Happy Kidney Day #9
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2010/04/happy-kidney-day-9.html
Saturday, April 17, 2010. Happy Kidney Day #9. Today is the 9 th. Anniversary of Andrew's kidney transplant. Here is a picture of Andrew and his sister, Janine, the day they got out of the hospital. (I'm sure they would prefer that I not post this picture of the two of them at their finest hour, but this is a very important picture in our family album.). I’m running out of ideas. Happy Kidney Day Andrew! National Organ Donation Awareness Month. Here are some facts everyone should know:. Because of the la...

The Black Family: Kidneyversary 2012
http://andrewandbeckyblack.blogspot.com/2012/04/kidneyversary-2012.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2012. It's that time of year again. . . This is the best diagram that I have found to illustrate what Andrew's kidneys all look like inside of his body. As you can see the old diseased/dead kidneys are still there. They are shriveled and non functioning, but they are still there. The new kidney (aka Janine's kidney) is sitting in the front of his abdomen. This pictures is a little bit backwards, because Andrew's/Janine's kidney is sitting on the opposite side. 10 Year Kidneyversary Pary.

The Birds: August 2011
http://blaineheatherbird.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 9, 2011. Dayton just finished his first swimming lessons last week. We had so much fun! They taught him to plow bubbles in the water, we did humpy dumpy sat on the wall, ring around the rosies and fun things like that for little kids. Dayton has a silly face going on here! This was the class we were in. It was a mom and tot class and Dayton did really well considering it was right before his nap time. He loves water! Posted by Heather Bird. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
