Monday, February 21, 2011. We purchased this china hutch last week at an antique store. We're not sure if we are going to stain it or paint it. I'll guess we'll figure that out as we go. Stay tuned! Sunday, June 19, 2011. Since the summer heat has been upon us 100% (what happened to spring? Well done H&H Products and Hartley's Lemonade! We celebrated Memorial Day by having my sister Beth and her family over for the day. We smoked some ribs and broke out the slip n slide. We had a great time and Tate got to experience one of the classic summertime events of the slip n slide for the first time. He also discovered he really likes ice cream cones! Sam is under there somewhere! Sam in action again.

After some sad news, we decided to take a day off and have some family time together and went to the pumpkin patch. It was the perfect day with gorgeous weather and we had a really good day. We got to go on a hayride out to the actual pumpkin patch and then another tractor ride just because we love tractors. Out looking for the perfect pumpkin. Tate and Mom on the ride back.

Thursday, January 20, 2011. Sew Proud of Myself! I made these drapes right before Christmas. Nothing like hosting Christmas Eve dinner for 11 people to finally motivate me to get it done. I was nervous to even try making these because I had only used my sewing machine 3 times before, but I think they turned out great! And they are even lined (with a blind hem stitch I might add)!
