Wednesday, June 15, 2011. The PG fire department does a fundraiser by putting serving breakfast while displaying their cool fire trucks and ambulances. I’d never heard of this before this year but it was really fun! Especially for the boys. What little boy doesn’t love a firetruck? Being a fireman brings a sense of fulfillment to life. Well it was just a little baby quilt, but still…. I quilted! It really ended up being a lot easier than I thought it would be. I really can’t give myself too much credit. We were lucky to get to see him the first day play in a doubles match. It was an amazing experience to see him walk out on the court, practice, then play. Amazing! Steve made sure I had the proper RF accessory for the tournament. I loved wearing that hat. We watched Number 1 Novac Djokovic play that first night as well. This is post-epidural and pre-baby :) See how relaxed I look? That was not the same face a couple minutes earlier. Day 3-Ready to go home. First bath at home. You can see how much he loved it! He immediately stopped crying as soon as we wrapped him up in a towel. He was just freezing. We've had a lot of fun having this new little guy around!

The Life of.Dave and Rach. Sunday, March 22, 2015. Winter Break Trip and Grandpa. Growing up, we were able to visit Cali at least once a year to see my dad's family. They are such a loving, welcoming, loud, and fun bunch. Definitely Italian blood is evident! We still try to visit every year or so, but I am so happy we got to go this last Christmas time. Seeing my grandpa one last time was needed. He was my last surviving grandparent. I am glad he got to meet his great-grandson. Ocean Beach with the babe.

Friday, February 25, 2011. On February 24th, we celebrated Amelia's 1-month birthday! I can't believe she's been here that short of time - it feels like she's always been here. We're all still adjusting to life with a newborn (ie, interrupted sleep, increased laundry loads, and things taking a lot. Longer to accomplish than before), but it's been fun, and we're looking forward to continuing to watch her grow! Cuddling with Mom and Dad. Listening to Mom sing songs and read Harry Potter (start 'em early!
