The Highland Mountain Company BLOG. Ring of Steal →. May 11, 2013. Today I was working for Lake District Walker. Taking Nicola and George up the CMD arête and round to Ben Nevis. With a dry start we made our way up the steep path to the top forestry car park below the North Face. From there we broke off and started the boggy climb up to the summit of Carn Mor Dearg.
