About two months ago I was working on an enterprise level front-end application that ran on AngularJS. Once I discovered that I had a better idea of what I was looking at and was able to find this. The moral of the story is that whenever making use of animations it's prudent to check your paints and renders to optimize your page before you run into strange UI glitches.
