Attended: Pastor and Becky; Willis and Lorna; Adam and Abigail; Randy and Jodi; Tim and Peg. Wow, we had six bikes tonight and 10 people! We went to the Branding Iron Restaurant in Lyons, Nebraska. We took N51 to US 77 and then south to Lyons. Good food and good service. Beautiful evening temperature wise; wind was a little strong, but not too bad. May 12, 2010. May 5, 2010.

JC and BC Weblog. 36 Years and Running Strong! July 31, 2009. Servant Event in Colorado. It was hard enough to carry the logs, much less do it on the side of a mountain! But our kids and counselors were real workers and did a great job. Made many new friends and had a great time. Our youth counselors, Walt and Saundra are retiring after this trip, not because of the trip, but because they’ve been youth counselors for 30 years! They’ll leave some mighty big shoes to fill. (We asked to have them trimmed, but the Motel Lady (let’s call her Kim) decided that Ernie would look cute as a bear cub. We now call him “Cubby.” Bert looked the same, but very sleek!
