We're a group of people who share an interest in breaking down the barriers faced by disabled people in their everyday lives. We usually meet fortnightly on Tuesdays between 6pm and 8pm at the Thistle Foundation, where we're based. Group members in the Garden Cafe. What do we want? Craigmillar transport and buildings to be fully accessible to all disabled people. Inclusive employment and educational opportunities across the board. To promote a fully inclusive and understanding community.

Meeting with the Convener of Edinburgh City Transport Committee. The DDS group have for some time now been campaigning for better access to Lothian Buses for disabled people. On Tuesday 23rd August we had a very well attended meeting on this issue. The meeting was attended by Cllr Burns who is the Edinburgh City Council Transport Convener, and Bill Campbell an Operations Director with Lothian Buses. On behalf of the DDS Group.
