Not because I was afraid of reaching my goals but I didn’t want my achievements to be driven by my pride–my own self centered desires. I don’t want to gain anything that only glorifies me. As simple as it sounds. September 5, 2015. Just as the title suggests, today I’ve decided to change my attitude towards life. Fear of not having enough has clouded my view of what I have in my possession. I’ve been so fortunate and have received so much in my life. But for some reason I’ve never been satisfied. This is a very unsettling place to be. Although it has its benefits, like always expecting more out of life, the unsettling feeling of not having enough makes me seem like an ungrateful person.
