Dean, Mel, Ben and Joey. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Ben, Coach Dean and the rest of the Speedway 8U All Stars participated in their first tournament this weekend: The Bulldog Bash in Monrovia. Pool play was Thursday night and Friday night with 6 pm games. Ben was really excited going into the first game.and his excitement only diminished a little following the game when his team was "run ruled" in the 4th inning because they were down 22-10! Dean, Mel, Ben and Joey. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. And The Rest Of March. Beautiful weather and unseasonably warm temps mean that the boys and I have been outside nonstop. We have enjoyed lots of playdates to the park and are all loving the start of baseball and soccer season. Life is busy but oh so good. We are blessed. Popsicles after school with the Matelic boys. Joey and Zoey at their first baseball practice. Riding the carousel at The Children's Museum with Aunt Mal Mal. Dean, Mel, Ben and Joey.

I laughed because sweet Ben was so certain that he was going to have a baby sister and I knew he would be so surprised. Nearly every day that has followed since Joe's birth has been filled with laughter as well. Joe was excited to go to school today and take his special birthday treat."karen with the leg" cookies that she baked for him and helped him decorate. They were super fancy! Ben, 8 years old.

I typically leave Ben's school about 2:15 and head to Joey's school to pick him up at 2:30 and then back to Ben's school to get him at 2:50.
