I think basic obedience is one of the best training tools you can incorporate into your dog’s life. Don’t forget, I’m training you, not the dog! Dog training should also be fun! How responsive are you if someone shouts orders or comes from anger? I personally will run the other way, so be creative with your dog. Figure out what motivates your dog, most dogs will work for food. Make sure your dog is paying attention to you, if your dog is staring at a bug in the grass, don’t ask him to sit!
