#Kemp: November 2012
http://kempj.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 19, 2012. Moving on from Ubuntu. After receiving the suggestion from several people I know, I finally made the plunge and installed Mint. At home to replace Ubuntu. I'm very glad I did - I'd almost forgot what it was like not to have to fight against your OS. Looking back, I can't believe what I came to accept as "normal". Maybe over time my opinion will change, but for now I would definitely recommend Mint over Ubuntu. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What am I doing?

#Kemp: Network switch buying attempt
http://kempj.blogspot.com/2013/05/network-switch-buying-attempt.html
Sunday, May 26, 2013. Network switch buying attempt. Firstly, there does not appear to be a single place in Coventry city centre to buy a network switch. Not a single one. I do have to highlight two of the responses we got though when asking around if anyone knew of a place to get one. No, it's illegal. People use them to hack their consoles.". #Kemp: March 2012

Friday, March 02, 2012. So I know Notch publicly stated that he hadn't written tests for the Minecraft code and didn't intend to because it's too hard to do, but the problem (other than your mind blowing when you read things like that) is that every release introduces the most stupid regressions possible. Let's take the recent 1.2 set of releases as the example here:. Big tree generation is fixed. The game now crashes if you look upwards at the sky, and mobs don't burn in sunlight anymore. The above are ...

CDR Idiot (as per my ESO name). Whatever! My AOE history goes back to the time when I was about 10 or 11 and played Age of Kings for a bit. I never really got to play it much anymore (ESRB, I curse thee), but I got back to it after turning 14. Then I got AOE3 and joined ESO and the rest is history. Spanish, Germans (3).

We love Age of Empires. Because good games are never forgotten. Apr 20th, 2007. Have any odd stories about your AOE experience? Both in game and out of game, of course, though I doubt there's much in the latter). Well, I was playing the 2nd Barbarossa mission (where you attack Poland and Henry turns on you). Well, so I'm fighting the poles, while holding off Henry's attacks, then out of nowhere, the game tells me "Henry the Lion defeated". And I'm like, 'wtf? So Any odd stories from your game experiences?
