9 Inch Cankles: In Loving Memory...
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2011/11/in-loving-memory.html
Sunday, November 06, 2011. Grandma Tipi was one of a kind. We always described her as "crazy but harmless". We meant it in the most loving way possible. She marched to the beat of her own drum and wasn't ashamed of it. I will miss seeing Christian melt into her arms and lay there forever without moving. For those of you who know my six year old, that is a miracle within its self. That boy never sits still for anyone. I will miss watching the kids play band with her at her house. The funeral was exactly t...

Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Return to What I Wore Wednesday. Luckily this week is pretty low key with not much going on. It's a nice change. Didn't do much today. Ran a few errands and went to the school.when don't I go to the school? Have a mentioned they want me to be President Elect for the PTA next year? That would mean when Emma was in first grade and Christian was in three grade I would be the PTA President! That is a whole different post for a whole different day. Shirt is from Dillards. Im visiti...

9 Inch Cankles: December 2011
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 05, 2011. It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas. I love decorating the house for Christmas! Wait, back up a minute. I love the final outcome of decorating the house for Christmas. The actual decorating part isn't so fun. I think it's time for new decorations, but that isn't in the budget this year so we'll make due with what we have. Let's a take a little stroll through the house and see what we did, shall we? It'll look like that until I take down the holiday decorations. I don't ...

9 Inch Cankles: Our Adoption Story Part Two...
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2010/12/our-adoption-story-part-two.html
Wednesday, December 01, 2010. Our Adoption Story Part Two. Read the first part of our story here. I decided to go to Sacrament and wait to call the adoption agency back. I NEVER EVER take my phone to church with me. For some reason, I felt a very strong prompting to take it into Sacrament with me. (Yes, I have since repented.) :) During the opening song, I felt very strongly that I should check my phone. Why? How did that work? I had to sneak back in to Sacrament and tell our friends to let someone know ...

9 Inch Cankles: March 2012
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 06, 2012. What I Wore Wednesday. You're so vain. I bet you think this song is about you. Don't you? I will admit it; I am vain. I won't run to the grocery store in sweats and a pony tail with no make up on. I won't answer the door if I'm still in my jammies with bed head. I take about 45 minutes to an hour every day to get ready. Ridiculous? Yes Can I help me? Probably but not really. I remember the exact moment that I become obsessively vain. Sometimes your hair is messy. Fast forward to ...

9 Inch Cankles: January 2012
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 03, 2012. Each year I find myself making a VERY LONG list of all my goals and resolutions for the year and then beating myself up over every little mistake and broken resolutions. I've decided this year there will be no long list with a hundred ways I want to improve myself and why I am currently such a horrible person. I do have a couple areas that I want to try and improve on, but I have learned that TRY is the key word. I am a perfectionist. I have been that way as along as I remember.

9 Inch Cankles: Our Adoption Story Part One...
http://9inchcankles.blogspot.com/2010/11/our-adoption-story-part-one.html
Sunday, November 21, 2010. Our Adoption Story Part One. Since November is National Adoption Month, I figured this would be a great time to FINALLY share our adoption story. I'm going to break it up into at least two different posts because it is pretty lengthy. It may have happened almost five years ago, but I remember every detail and want to share our story of faith, love and how we became parents to the most wonderful little boy in the world. Should I just call them without talking to Marcus first?
