Thursday, August 21, 2008. Assignment 2: finale - the sarawak rhino-hornbill. After a week or so, its done.well.it looks 'ok-la' on here.but bad news.when i printed it out.seems the beak part is spoiled (the one i meshed).and the gradient is wrong.the color is poor. T T .still figuring it out whether its my mesh fault or the printer.similar thing happen to one of my fren, froggie.she has the 'jelly-frog'. For this tutorial, we learn how to vandalize the wall. 1st of all select the font at the path layer, n change the color of the words in red.just to show contrast. Next, create a new layer (alpha 1), and click the RGB channel to show the words and the image. Using the line tool with fill pixel, draw random straight lines with 2px all the way from right to left and nxt using 6px. The final view after some touch-ups. Bla bla bla by. S02E05 - cool fire.

Friday, December 26, 2008. S02E06 - chrome effect. This last tutorial im gonna make a chrome effect style using font or logo. 1st of all.open the path layer on to the wallpaper that u like.ctrl click the path. Alt backspace to fill the color with white. Go to edit stroke for 2 copies of the layer and displace them using displacement. Then use gaussian blur to smooth out the edges. Go to image calculation to combine both layers together. This is wat it looks like after the curve adjustments. Bla bla bla by.

Also to create a 'instability' effect, You can see the shape of the blue building and all the windows. You can see the unevenness of it. I would like to use them as representations of the instability in the weather. It is to represent the changes and the effects of weather changes on a city or the world in fact. Shapes tool(eclipse and rectangle).
