Random Acts of Economics. A random collection of my thoughts, mostly regarding economics and how it affects our lives. Saturday, January 31, 2009. Well, its about time I am back. I take a couple weeks off and they try to pass every special interest pet project dreamed up over the last 40 years all at once in the name of economic stimulus. Folks, don't be fooled by this. There is very little in this bill that will stimulate anything except more government. 160;/Dr. Evil voice. But rather ...400 millio...

Random Acts of Economics: Happy New Year!
http://randomactsofeconomics.blogspot.com/2009/01/happy-new-year.html
Random Acts of Economics. A random collection of my thoughts, mostly regarding economics and how it affects our lives. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Sorry for the slow down, but with the holidays there hasn't been much time for blogging. And with congress not in session for most of the last month, the economy is not being actively violated, so there hasn't been a lot to post about. . That time is over however, so I am sure things will get busy again real soon. The internet waits for no one!

Random Acts of Economics. A random collection of my thoughts, mostly regarding economics and how it affects our lives. Saturday, August 23, 2008. Speculator - Friend or Foe? The ad went on to ask things like "Do you have to choose between putting gas in your car or feeding your baby? And what about the farmers who have these products and want to plan their operations for the next year? They need to control fluctuation in price as well. So, with all of that, how does it apply to oil? Whew, this has turned...

Random Acts of Economics. A random collection of my thoughts, mostly regarding economics and how it affects our lives. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Living In An Obama-Nation. The transformation to socialism has been ongoing since the day President Reagan left office, but the rate of change has accelerated in recent months and will now be full steam ahead without any free market capitalists left in government to put the brakes on. How we got here. Where do we go from here? November 22, 2008 at 7:32 PM.

Random Acts of Economics. A random collection of my thoughts, mostly regarding economics and how it affects our lives. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Why Buy the Cow. When you can get all of the sour milk and an 8% 'steak' for almost the same price? Another day, another taxpayer bailout of a poorly run financial company. You would think I was used to it by now, but watching the underpinnings upon which our country was founded get shredded anew each day just never gets old. Saturday, November 22, 2008.

re-Barr: A Good Example of What Not to Do
http://re-barr.blogspot.com/2013/07/a-good-example-of-what-not-to-do.html
Tuesday, July 9, 2013. A Good Example of What Not to Do. Https:/ www.youtube.com/watch? Okay so look at this from the objective outsider. 1. If you were visiting, would you ever go back? 2 Does this make christians look good? 3 If you spend all this time publicly tearing people down does finishing it with I love you make it okay? Watching this video made my breath get very shallow, as it reminded me so much of MFC. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Talk amongst yourselves. If God knew, then why?

re-Barr: January 2009
http://re-barr.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 31, 2009. So, I was reading Luke 24 and in particular the passage where Jesus met Cleopas. And another believer on their way to Emmaus. Tonight I read that and, WOW! How awesome would that conversation. Have you ever had someone to start counselling you about something that has you down? And on that note, how awesome is it to read God's Word and be uplifted by it? Friday, January 16, 2009. Is it something inward? My vision is that this year I would decrease and Christ increase in my life.

Thursday, February 19, 2009. Right on the Money! I recently found an article on pathclearer.com. Titled " Right on the Money! The preachers who preach this message often work their best to live a very affluent lifestyle that will help to inspire others to give to them. People tend to look up to them because of the money that they throw around. The Bible warns about following after money, and Dooley gives several examples early in his article: Ecclesiastes 5:10-11. And Luke 6:20-21, 24-25, 30. As Dooley p...

re-Barr: Joining a Church
http://re-barr.blogspot.com/2012/02/joining-church.html
Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Why do you need to "join" a church? I mean is there a spiritual reason behind joining? Or is it so the pastor can puff up their feathers and say that their church has x. Don't take this to mean, "Do I need to go to church? Because I do believe in "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together" ( Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV. We should meet together and spur each other to good works as that same passage says. Furthermore, Proverbs 27:17 (NIV). Are we left to the wind? When the Gam...
