Wednesday, 22 July 2009. Two octave range (lower). Synth-like tones possible using neck pickup on notes above 12th fret. Blend and Output knobs. Neon green leopard-print fur finish. Case finished in fur as per customers request. No decals (partly on account of the fur). Beautifully manufactured PCB from Tonepad.com. Almost an exact clone of the original 1977 MXR Blue Box, with slight differences. Bridge pickup, minimum effect. Neck pickup, maximum effect. Youre building pedals again. :).

Friday, 14 March 2008. A simple signal booster pedal. Up to 35 decibels of clean boost - no break up. Can be used to drive tube amps to rake up some dirt. Adds a little bit of brightness. Full frequency (no bass loss). Case painted with BMW Alpine White car spray paint. Decals of the dry-rub variety. PCB from tonepad.com. Monday, 2 November 2009. Ring Modulator style dissonance. Smoke", "Fog" and "Smog" knobs (equivalent to Tone, Tuning and Intensity). Upside-down decals on the back for ease of reading when leaning over in a playing situation. Battered case finished in shiny chrome paint. Decals of the dry-rub variety (N.B. decal borders are not nearly so noticeable in person as they appear in these pictures). No PCB - stripboard used instead. All samples were recorded with single coil pickups direct to PC.
