Here are some of the favorite destinations in Belize of Jay Hersh, author of Mundo Maya: Revenge of the Jaguar King, many of which helped inspire the novel. Also located off the Western Highway this is said to be a nice resort which features trips to many of the settings in the book such as Caracol, Tikal, Xunantunich, etc. The author has not stayed here.

For March it has to be Convolvulus cneorum or Bush Morning Glory. They are blooming. Clients always ask me about them in March. “What are those beautiful plants with all the white flowers”?
