The life of Samples/Morgan. Monday, June 7, 2010. Jakoda turned two this year and while I may have went a little overboard I think the party turned out awesome and everyone had a good time despite the rain! The party was farm themed because Jak LOVES animals. I made an open book cake with a barn and farm animals coming out of it. We had a blow up jumparoo that was a horse, there was hay bales for everyone to sit on and there were real baby chicks for everyone to hold and cuddle with! Delish in the Kitch.

http://wearmanyhatsreborn.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
A Midwestern Essayist just writing through life. Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Oldest is my culinary challenge. It's not that he won't eat certain things. It's that he seems to forever be chowing down things he shouldn't! It started as a baby. If he went to play in the mud, we had to sit right beside him because within moments his little hand would grab a glob and drift right toward his mouth. I asked, truly puzzled. A second or two later the song from Disney channel's newest musical came rapping over the speaker. His face reflect the luminescent screen glow from his laptop. But there was no mistaking his delight at having found a website with his favorite music. Do you like it, Mom?

A Midwestern Essayist just writing through life. Thursday, March 22, 2012. A Good Reason To Let Kids Fail Online. I love eating dinner alone with my boys. About once a month or so, I take each out for dinner alone and listen. The key is not the food, it's the listen. So this guy told me there's a glitch in the game and if I put a certain amount, it would double in my account. I did it, and he took my million gold pieces.". Doesn't this sound like the Nigerian internet scam? What a great teachable moment!
