The Real Housewife of OKC: January 2009
http://cowanokc.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Apparently God thought I needed a slower week after last week. Monday morning was spent rushing to Bible Study, Wal-Mart, the girls school, and the Dr. office before the ice storm hit. I haven't left home since! The kids even got to play out in the snow for a bit today. Monday, January 26, 2009. Why does everything seem to happen all in the same week? And why does that seem to happen every week? We decided the show must go on as I wanted to get it over, the cookie cake had al...

Big Night: June 2006
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 16, 2006. Butt Naked on the Bedroom Floor. This was originally suppossed to post on June 16th. What do you get when you mix 3 Germans, 1 Mexican, 1 Swede, 1 Belgian, and a bunch of Americans? A lot of mixed language cuss outs and hangovers. Last night was one crazy night. I did it up Big Night Style with shots of Jamo and vodka and pitchers of Pale Ale. Awesome! Did you know the Westport Flea Market has the best BLT in town? Links to this post. Monday, June 12, 2006. Time to write again.

Big Night: Amsterdam Damn Damn James...
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2011/07/amsterdam-damn-damn-james.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. Amsterdam Damn Damn James. What happens when you combine 2 fun loving individuals, 4 countries, and 14 days? More laughter, drinks, and great times than anyone can remember. Thank God for pictures. Chris Goodwin and I embarked on an amazing trip that included not only hookers and blow. More on that later). But plenty of bizarre and random encounters that will be remembered for a lifetime. Note: Don't try this unless you don't care about cost or time). And through much discussion an...

Big Night: July 2006
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 31, 2006. Hot Wings And Hip Hop. Two Sunday's down and two trips to the Peanut for Hot Wings accomplished. My decision to dive for the devilish delectible dorsal was by chance but oh so welcomed. If you haven't had these wings they are a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. I mean they come out still smokin' and are as large as pterodactyl appendage. Woosh! I'm tired so I'm going to bed. Links to this post. Thursday, July 13, 2006. What do you do when your caught in a dilemma? What can...

Big Night: Latvia Part 1 – The History Lesson
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2011/08/latvia-part-1-history-lesson.html
Thursday, August 11, 2011. Latvia Part 1 – The History Lesson. We rolled into town trying to loosen our load, leaving smiles and hearts intact. Riga, Latvia was the ultimate destination of our trip but what’s sponge cake without strawberries and whipped cream? So far we had a lot of the sweetness you crave but now we were about to experience the substance that builds a lifetime of friendships. Needless to say I was on guard for running into the worst but fortunately I was pleasantly surprised. For our da...

Big Night: July 2014
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. 12:57am July 31, 2014. The days are still long and the weather is cool and reminds me oh so much of 10 years ago when Kansas City experienced a cool Milwaukee like summer. It's a welcome relief from the heat to have highs in the low 80's and to be able to sleep with the windows open and a light blanket on your bed. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Big Night: August 2008
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2008. Buddy" is one step down from "Chief". Guys, Have you ever been in a bar and somebody calls you Buddy? Like, "Hey Buddy, stop dancing on the bar." or "Tell your passed out Buddy he can't sleep in here." Now juxtapose Buddy with someone who calls you Chief. "Hey Chief, stop dancing on the bar." or "Tell Chief over there unless he wants to own a used Golden Tee machine he should stop banging on it." See the difference? This is a mixed blog so bear with me during the subject changes.

Big Night: Second Wind

Monday, February 15, 2010. As with most times you are under pressure you look in the mirror, dig deep and look for inspiration to keep you motivated. I'm in a pressure cooker right now but somehow I find a way to maintain a sense of control. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Things Albert Thinks About. Big Night: June 2007
http://bignighteffusive.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 04, 2007. When the night was said and done Mo and I took a cab back downtown and ended up back at the 5 Point aka "the saloon" where the music stopped. But this time the atmosphere had changed. Filled with musicians and artist types we ordered food. Hands down one of the best club sandwiches to date. Here are the last two sets of pics. 1.
