日銀が今月２日に公表した生活意識に関するアンケート調査第６１回によると、物価に対する実感は足元を中心に従来並みか、わずかに上昇。しかし、物価上昇下落についての感想を見ると、物価下落をどちらかと言えば、困ったことだと受け止めているという回答が３９３と２四半期連続で減少。現行調査で最も高かった第５９回２０１４年９月調査時の回答５７５の３分の２にとどまった。この間、どちらかと言えば、好ましいことだとの回答は３３９と前回の２０８から急増。大半が転嫁できない南関東出版印刷同関連産業などの声に見つけることができるだろう。そして、それと呼応するように日銀の２物価目標は誤り出口戦略が必要といった論調が再び息を吹き返している。今の時代、安かろう、悪かろうが通用するとは考えにくいが、それを前提にしても、価格の安さのみが注目されるトレンドはそろそろ終わりに近づいているのではないだろうか。こうした視点で最近の日本経済を見ると、日用品を中心に安さを追求するトレンドは変わらないものの、プチ贅沢や自分へのご褒美などに対する需要も根強い。
