Kevin and I sought out cooler climates, in the Hurri Hills. Our walks were often interrupted by termite mounds and such. We ran into a band of baboons that the dogs chased and then treed. BUT we found the culprit! FOOD If I don't eat I am fine! Actually, I just can't eat wheat or milk. But cutting out wheat and milk cuts out my favorite foods-chai and mandazi. also ice cream and other yummies. But so far the feeling healthy has been worth the sacrifice of not eating those foods. Friday, January 29, 2010. Every morning, I wake up to this. Throughout the day, the hot sun beats down on the land. Off in the distance, Tullu Dimtu and other mountains give variety to the horizon. As the sun sets, I usually sit outside my home on a little stool, sipping tea, playing guitar, watching the trees and homes turn into silhouettes. Be still and know that I am God.". Picnic in the park, I love watching giraffe and water buck from the picnic table! Before we went back, we stopped by the snake park! I could bring one home for you! One kind actually vibrates when you touch them. Meal times with the team and the TIMO staff. We went for tea at this neat lodge that had their own private game park where the animals were very tame.

She's been doing LOTS better since cutting out these things and we're thankful for a family here (who has a daughter with the same allergies) who's been teaching us all over how to prepare meals.
