Monday, November 1, 2010. We got hooked into watching all the fun shows that showed extreme pumpkin carving contests and how to's. So of course my family wanted to try all the new techniques and not do the traditional designs or pumpkin faces. Kylee even got into the game and did her own pumpkin design at Snow. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. Pottery * Cake Decorating * Sewing * Waterpolo. We are doing our best to keep busy this summer, finding activities to do INSIDE. The girls took a pottery class for 2 weeks, sewed their own PJ Bottoms, did some cake decorating, then made horses with the scooters to celebrate the 24th of July children's parade at the church. They also took a waterpolo clinic and loved that. This is what summer is all about. You guys have really done a lot the last couple of months!

Monday, August 30, 2010. First Day of School. Raychel is starting 7th Grade. John Glenn Middle School. She wasn't very nervous because she knows the school and couldn't wait to see all of her friends again. So far, it has been a great year. She is involved in many different clubs and likes all of her teachers. Haylee is in 4th Grade - Gerald Ford Elementary. Haylee was so excited to start school again. Saturday, March 28, 2009. How do you spell that vacation? Last week Lisa and I went on a great little trip to Albuquerque, otherwise known as "the Duke City", or ABQ for short. We had a blast and ate like kings! Ragin' Shrimp, Quarters BBQ, The Frontier. what a great time just to get away. Of course, coming home to a big snow storm made us want to jump on the next flight back to the land of enchantment. Sunday, June 14, 2009. Conquering our fears, 20 years later. When I was about 11 or 12 our family went to Lava Hot Springs with the cousins. They have a 10 meter platform which terrified me! I was too chicken to jump off it. I'm proud to report 20 years later. I mastered the highest platform at LAVA! Memorial Day weekend was a blast. On my way to the National Park I stopped outside of Sante Fe at a really cool swap meet on an Indian Pueblo.
