Thursday, May 03, 2012. How to Get the 'Home' Button in Chrome. Not sure why Google's Chrome doesn't automatically give you a 'Home' button. Here's how to get it -. Open your browser window. Click on the wrench in the top right corner. Click on 'Settings' from the drop down menu. You should be on the 'Basics' page of Settings. Go down to 'Toolbar'.
