When I sat down and prepared my personal ride calendar for the year, I came up with a little over 2000 miles on the "wish list." Hmmmm. Didn't I say something about slowing down this year? Saturday, July 7, 2012. 2012 Descanso Endurance Ride 50. The ride started at 6am on Saturday. I got up at 4:30 to feed Hoss and get dressed. Breakfast (fruit and donuts and coffee and hot chocolate and juice) was served at 5am. I walked over and grabbed food, then walked back to eat it in my truck.
