Imprint & Contact. Tankoid and collision detection. Last week I spent a fair amount of time playing around with collision detection and collision response in Tankoid. And as it stands out, it’s not as easy as it seems! The yellow lines are the bricks’ walls that are part of their collision shapes. The green circles mark collision points, and the red lines are vectors from the ball with the direction and length of the ball’s velocity for the next frame.
