In 1800-4 John Nash built Luscombe Castle for him, about 1 m. west of the church, combining the external appearance of "our ancient baronial fortresses" with all modern comforts inside. Devon Section of the VMCC. We are the Devon Section of The Vintage Motorcycle Club of GB.The main focus of the club is classic and vintage motorcycles. Club nights are held at The Town Inn, South Molton, on the third Thursday of each month at 8.00pm. Monthly runs and evening meets are organized to cover most parts of the county.
