Friday, July 31, 2009. We had HOT movers! Now that I have your attention - read on, seriously - do you think I am that shallow? We have had record heat here in Washington - 105 degrees to be exact. Did I mention that we don't have air conditioning? It was a little over 100 on the actual day we moved into the house. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Where is the sun? As you may have noticed (not sure if anyone even reads this blog) - it's been while since I have posted. I have been much to busy on facebook. I just cant' shake it. I have SERIOUSLY been missing the sun around here! I thought it was gone forever until I went onto my iggogle page and saw my various cities I want to see the weather in! Looks like I am living in the WRONG place. Yes, Provo and Rexburg are a bit colder but there is SUN! Big round shiny sunshine.

I feel so blessed to be able to watch the proceedings from the comfort of my home with my family gathered around. Sunday, August 30, 2009. Little House in the Big Woods. The yard is is pretty bad shape between just being vacant and the nasty. Winter here last season. But alas, the rains will come and the. We've been lucky so far - only a couple of days of rain this month - highly unusual for Seattle. Several grey days but not too bad. And when the sun comes out - wow, it's gorgeous. Growing up we played in the yard, the woods, the tall grass in the fields, and at the edge of the woods all day, and I never had one tick, ever. Now it seems just going into the front yard of anyone's house requires a full body scan to detect those nasty buggers! Thursday, July 14, 2011. I jumped my first fence ever last night. It was quite thrilling! It was just a little cross rail, but it was my first time. I was a bit apprehensive about jumping, but my instructor did an excellent job of preparing us in ground work, so that when the time came it was easy breezy over the first rails. I love riding and was not enjoying class as much as usual with the prospect of having to jump looming over. Well, the day finally came, and it was awesome! Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

On Thursday evening we made another trip to the Manchester area (I'd just come home from AZ the night before) to pick up Craig's Dad, who was in the area on business and stayed with us for the weekend. He was very nice to spend a couple of days building shelves in our garage. This is a before picture. Of course these are not just any shelves! Saturday, January 14, 2012. 40 months (almost 3 1/2 years)…. 396 hours in the classroom (12 total classes for 36 credit hours)…. 11,220 miles traveled round-trip to Manchester, NH (approx. 264 hours)…. More meals at McDonalds then I’d like to know (augh)…. Countless hours working on homework, group projects, and papers. I received my Master's degree in Information Technology. The diploma arrived in the mail yesterday to which I promptly hung it up next to my Bachelor's degree. So what's next for Craig?
