Saturday, May 2, 2015. It is almost summer vacation here! I can't believe we have only 2 1/2 more weeks of school. It even seems too soon although the break does sounds good. We don't take many breaks during the school year to allow missionaries as much summer as possible to travel back to the US if they need to. Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Life Goes On But. I’m feeling despondent today. Isn’t that a good word? It reminds me of a group I was a part of once when we had to start off with a “feeling” word. Our leader would have been proud of me. Anyway, a follow-up question might be, “What’s the reason for such a strong feeling? My heart and mind are heavy for Ukraine. Since Russian forces have now brazenly invaded Ukraine, Ukrainian forces are losing ground, new cities are under siege, and refugee counts have risen.

Within the last two weeks the temperature in Hungary has gone from 10 degrees Celsius to over 30 degrees Celsius. It feels like July, but it is only April. I have had my share of ice cream the last few days. My favorite ice cream shop in Budapest is Dr. Gelato and my favorite flavor is 'After 8'. This post is dedicated to ice cream lovers everywhere!
