How Do We Get Started? To schedule a consultation. How Long Does Therapy Take? The number of sessions varies from child to child and each presenting problem. My standard approach includes:. Initial Parents Only Consultation (described above). Three Child Play Therapy Sessions to build a relationship and understand the child's needs.
