Our son has type 1 diabetes. Every day we hope and pray for a cure. October 21, 2010. Imagine doing everything you're told. You stick to the rules, learn the tricks, and jump through all the hoops. You do this every second of every day. You do this out of fear. You do it because you are a parent and you have to. You do it out of love.
