Tuesday, August 10, 2010. SYMLIN Insurance Sticker Shock. I just spent 40 minutes on the phone and I'm not a happy woman. The first call was from my local CVS pharmacy, who called to tell me that my two SYMLIN. Pens were ready to be picked up and could be all mine for $163.32 - more than what my insulin costs per month. Yes, I'm well aware that my insurance SUCKS. I told the Pharmacist to sit tight on my order, because I needed to do some research before I could commit. Like I said: MY INSURANCE SUCKS!
