Crafty Christmas Club: Wow, a whole year gone by......
http://craftychristmasclub.blogspot.com/2012/12/wow-whole-year-gone-by.html
Thursday, 20 December 2012. Wow, a whole year gone by. And here I am back at the lovely Crafty Christmas Club blog. As we in the US balance precariously on the edge of the "fiscal cliff" I see it will be another year of very sparse gift-giving. I've made my usual socks and also this cute little wreath. The snow men are from a kit from the Herrschner's Craft Catalog. Then I just went crazy at Hobby Lobby to find little bits and pieces to make up the wreath. Crafty Christmas Club: October 2010
http://craftychristmasclub.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, 31 October 2010. Here's a step by step way of making the flower brooch I showed in my last post. A square of felt. Needle and thread to match. Cut strips of felt about 1cm thick, or as desired but be aware the thicker the strips the thicker the 'petals', I use nine strips for each flower. Unlike me, use large scissors so that your lines are a bit straighter, but I don't mind wobbly petals. Loop all of the strips four times and pin to secure. Links to this post. I've got some basting spray I'm kee...

Tuesday, 30 November 2010. Yesterday I checked out this craft book from the library called Simply Green Giving by Danny Seo. 2006) Like any good crafty book there are nice big pictures. And like any good craft book there are a few ideas that are just plain silly. But the important thing is getting the creativity going! I have already started to make giant ribbon bows using this tutorial. Via Crafty Christmas Club. They were so easy to make! I want to make them more and more huge. muahaha. I hope my siste...

Crafty Christmas Club: November 2011
http://craftychristmasclub.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 30 November 2011. This year, I'm sewing aprons for the ladies in my family. I am a huge apron-lover and have several in my collection. For these gifts, I have matched the fabrics to the personality of the recipient. The one above is for my mum, who loves red and has recently had her kitchen redone. This one is for my mother-in-law, who loves all shades of blue. I have two more aprons to make; one for my aunt-in-law and the other for my sister-in-law. Has some really cute ones. Sunday, 25 December 2011. I'm still technically not done, but. If you can't tell by this post, I'm a procrastinator. Thought I'd recap what I was able to give out (and technically finish) these past couple days, though I'm still needing to finish a couple more gifts. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and that everyone enjoyed your amazing crafty gift goodness! Another pleated clutch, with layered fabric. Ginger schnapps, in single size jars. Diaper clutch, again poorly self-drafted. X-mas Present...
