In the past I would say that it's because I've been distracted or busy with other things or just lazy, but it has actually been purposeful this time. Diary of an Attic. Monday, March 14, 2005. Well, the carpet was installed last Thursday. We spent the weekend starting to remove the layer of dust from the rest of the house. This week I will do the final touch-ups on the baseboard and walls where they were scratched by the carpet.
