On the way back to the hotel, we found out that the rest of the crew who were coming into town for the wedding was at a little bar down the way - so the gang dropped Em and I off at the hotel and they went out to meet up with Ben and the rest of the group. Em's addiction to fruit juice became worse - LOVES banana, pear and apricot juice now (Thanks Cat) - but then again - the juice there was SOOOOO good! Em is also an even bigger olive fan now - she will reach out and put them on her own finger and eat them :). She said Caio while we were there but won't consistently say it now that we are home. Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Oh My! Monday, April 27, 2009. Day 5 - Mondelo Sicily. Day 5 - Mondelo. Mondelo is the beach area outside of Palermo. It was beautiful! Emily really enjoyed it as well - and Jason and Dave had meat and fries. On the bus ride in we were able to see the Favorite Park (it's a HUGE state park like area outside of the city) and Mount Pelligrino which is a famous mountain in Palermo. Monday, April 27, 2009. Home again Home again. We are back home again - settling back in - recovering from jet lag. The first few days Em has been up at the crack of dawn (literally before the sun). On Saturday we headed out for an early game of disc golf - which Emily LOVED. She would hold the discs and alternated between walking and riding in her stroller. :).
