The Moonlight Walking Tours take you on a historical stroll through Greenwood Cemetery. The walk is approximately four (4) miles within the 100-acre cemetery, and it will briefly visit about 100 graves of notable individuals in Orlando’s history. The cost of the tour is free. However, many times each tour is sponsored by a different charity that will be accepting donations. Registration for events are typically through eventbrite.com. And will typically open 2 weeks before scheduled tour dates.

Conduct within the Cemetery. In compiling the rules herein, the City of Orlando has endeavored to safeguard the individual lot owners as well as the cemetery as a whole. All lot owners and visitors within the Cemetery and all property sold shall be subject to said rules and regulations, as well as such other rules, amendments or alterations that may from time to time be adopted by the City Council. The cemetery is set apart for the exclusive burial of human remains and shall forever be used as such only.

Opening and Closing Costs at Greenwood. These are standard fees charged by all cemeteries that cover preparation and finishing of the site before and after the service. Greenwood services are offered Monday through Friday. Service, including tent, grass and chairs. Services beginning later than 3 pm or on Saturday. 8211; additional $150. Extra seating is available, usually at no extra charge, but subject to availability.
