Final Project – Inquiry Question. November 28, 2012. What are you asking, investigating, and trying to study? 8211; MF suggestion: Looking at two significant facets. Of the writer that you see in both the 19. Century: 1. C ollaborative/social. Writing always social, even though the internet and Web 2.0 provided significant shifts in participation) and 2. Expert/amateur (how each kind of writer sought venues to share their work). 8211; MF suggestion: Structure in terms of compare/contrast between 19.

In Mad Love And War | Sara's Native American
https://nativesara.wordpress.com/2013/03/17/in-mad-love-and-war
Sara's Native American. A fine WordPress.com site. In Mad Love And War. I was reading some of our class’s blog posts on Harjo’s book and I came to Adriana’s post, and saw the YouTube clip of Harjo saying the “Eagle Poem”. I really thought it was interesting how she read it! And somehow I ended up looking to many clips for Harjo. Surprisingly, she did not only read out her poems but she also read, act and played Saxaphone on stage. She is talented! It is very stunning and I enjoyed it! March 17, 2013.

Sara's Native American. A fine WordPress.com site. Author Archives: Sara Almalik. I enjoyed reading this book it has funny lines and it’s really exciting. But I would have to mention that all that violence left me depressed. There were lots of violence: guns, throat cutting, shooting, shooting the dead, smashed teeth, cutting penises and ears, and oh I had to stop many times while reading it for a breath! Sharon holland | Sara's Native American

Sara's Native American. A fine WordPress.com site. From Sharon Holland’s talk about the Indians relation to the animal and how it was based on the necessity of hunting, I think it is interesting to apply it to the texts we’ve read. In many Natives literature the hunting and game is an unavoidable topic. And from the texts we’ve read I think the text that deals the most with animal hunting was a part in McNickle’s. I will try to relate it to Sharon Holland’s talk. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Sara's Native American. A fine WordPress.com site. Thoughts on Carving Hawk Poems…. In this blog post, I will write about some selected poems in Carving Hawk. I enjoyed reading the poems very much, Kenny even though using a lot of repetition it is done in a very creative way. While reading the poems, I did favor some over others, related to some and not fully understood others, but overall, I enjoyed reading them all. I. 8216;ll mention here some of the lines that strike me. There is beauty in death.

CEREMONY – Leslie Silko | Sara's Native American
https://nativesara.wordpress.com/2013/02/20/ceremony-leslie-silko
Sara's Native American. A fine WordPress.com site. CEREMONY – Leslie Silko. All good or all bad either;. It all depended” (P.11). Really got me interested. In this quote and through out the book we see this concept of everything having a good and a bad side in it. There’s nothing or no one either bad or good. I got the sense that if it was bad there was still a good side in it, and even if it was mostly good we can still find a negative in it. And the concept of The Surrounded. That no matter how good yo...

Monthly Archives: November 2012. Understanding Why the 21st Century Hasn’t Killed Writing: Instead Realizing It Has Always Been Dying. November 28, 2012. In Sean Latham’s introduction to, Unpacking My Digital Library: Programs,. Modernisms, Magazines, he starts by saying, Let me begin with a confession. Monthly Archives: September 2012. Responding to DLA Revision. September 25, 2012. Although this was a convenience, there is still a sort of trepidation on my behalf when referring to/relying on others works for your own writing in other words engaging in a more collaborative environment. The usual fears set in: did I refer to the author correctly, is the outside material reliable or fully relevant to my topic, and/or was any of the information superfluous.
