Saturday, February 14, 2015. 1 orange, peeled. 1 cup frozen banana chunks. 1 cup frozen mango chunks. 1/2 - 1 cup fortified soy or rice milk. Cut orange in half and remove any seeds. Place in a blender with banana, mango, and nondairy milk. Blend until thick and very smooth, 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately. Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges. 2 medium sweet potatoes, cut into wedges. 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt. 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/8 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. D is for Dinner.

Saturday, September 6, 2014. 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter. 2 1/4 cups sugar. 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1 teaspoon espresso powder, optional. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose flour. 2 cups chocolate chips. 8-10 Oreos (Double Stuf is where it’s at), chopped. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Beef Jerky and a Burger Rub. I have been wanting to try and make jerky for a long time, and I finally gave it a shot; well two shots anyway. My first attempt was on my Ugly Drum Smoker, it was a failure. It cooked the meat instead of drying it out and left me with a dried out flavorless strips, as you can see. The Way the Cookie Crumbles. TWD and DB Recipes. Brown rice with black beans. Of all the whole grains, brown rice has been the hardest for me to accept. I realize now that I’d been cooking it wrong for years. I just couldn’t seem to cook it through all the way, and I tried a bunch of different recipes, but it was always crunchy. But that isn’t the recipe I’m telling you about today. Ha! I mean, it goes without saying that avocado improves almost anything, but it was particularly complimentary with this.
