National School of Drama. Alumni Activities and Assosiations. Sunday, April 29, 2007. Mita Vasisth - "Lal Ded". Mandala (space for cultural research and education) presents "Lal Ded" a solo one act performed by Mita Vasisth. The play is a theatrical collage of poems, songs, thoughts and philosophies of the medieval poetess Lal Ded from Kashmir. Though born to Brahmins this fiery artist transgressed all boundaries by discarding her clothes at an early age and remained unclad all her life. Praan Jaye Par S...

Bollywood Talk: Julia/Julie --Quick Take
http://bollywoodtalk.blogspot.com/2012/08/juliajulie-quick-take.html
How does "culture" affect my life? Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Julia/Julie - Quick Take. I have been devouring DVDs while I study, letting them run in the background. Occasionally, a movie will catch my eye or ear and I will watch it. I had watched Julia/Julie. I am intimidated by Beef Bourguignon but I was intrigued by poached eggs, so I tried it and succeeded! It is a nicely cooked soft boiled egg or maybe-over easy. The only problem is that it is not as easy to eat as it appeared in Julia/Julie.

Bollywood Talk: While This is Not My Last Post on Bollywood Talk, I Have Shifted Gears Towards Other Media

How does "culture" affect my life? Friday, January 10, 2014. While This is Not My Last Post on Bollywood Talk, I Have Shifted Gears Towards Other Media. Where I live now, it is much harder to stay connected to the world of Bollywood. While I did join Eros Now,. There was just not enough Shah Rukh Khan on it for me. Shah Rukh Khan led me on a exploration of Bollywood, India, and the world. Without him, I get lost. I brought many of my Bollywood DVDs with me, so I can enjoy the "reruns.".

Totally Basmatic!: October 2006
http://totallybasmatic.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 29, 2006. To: Readers, Love: Fireball. Where else would one go but YouTube.com? YouTube probably my new favorite thing on the internet. On YouTube, I can find nearly everything I need for entertainment, from ridiculous homemade music videos to subtitled Japanese doramas. And, of course, you can find the best bits of Bollywood there as well, such as this wonderful tidbit:. It needs no explanation other than that I love it completely and utterly and possibly even more than the real Superman.
