Saturday, March 15, 2008. I use an animal webquest with my students each year right before we go on our zoo field trip. The students always enjoy learning about the animals and their habitats. crystal's lit and tech blog: Movie Marvel
http://cperrylitandtechblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/movie-marvel.html
Thursday, April 24, 2008. I think this would be a good project for students to use if they access to their own digital cameras. However, the students could also be included by creating text to accompany the photos of a nature walk or field trip that were taken by the teacher. I am going to attempt to load my scanned book pictures into movie maker so that students would be able to follow along with their favorite books. You can Check out my movie by clicking digital project under my assignments.

Celeste's Literacy/Technology Blog: Wikis
http://celestewoodruff.blogspot.com/2008/04/wikis.html
Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Could add information to the wiki. Now I know that one can set a wiki to private so that only authorized users can access the wiki. I don't think I would use a wiki just for my students, but I do think it is a great communication tool for teachers and parents, and occasionally the students too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Celeste's Literacy/Technology Blog: April 2008
http://celestewoodruff.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 28, 2008. I created a Voki tonight! It was pretty neat. I enjoyed playing around with the character and the background. My students would absolutely love this. I like to have my students present information when we work on projects. However, I have several shy student who do not like to get up in front of the class to speak. I think this would be a nice option for students who have a fear of public speaking. Monday, April 21, 2008. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Monday, April 14, 2008. Now, we ar...

Celeste's Literacy/Technology Blog: Webquests
http://celestewoodruff.blogspot.com/2008/04/webquests.html
Sunday, April 6, 2008. I am familiar webquests, and have even created one, but I have not used them in my own classroom. I think webquests are great! I have looked at several online and have saved many to my social bookmarking account. It just seems that when I go to open the resources, many of the sites are currently unavailable. I guess some of the sites that were used at the time have gone down for some reason? Anyway, I created my webquest (Solids, Liquids, and Gases, Oh My! Get a Voki now!

crystal's lit and tech blog: Virtual Vision
http://cperrylitandtechblog.blogspot.com/2008/04/virtual-vision.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The last two classes for this course have been virtual classes. I really wasn't in favor of having these, but I wasn't brave enough to speak up and say I don't feel comfortable doing this. It would be like admitting "I'm a computer idiot". Who wants to do that?
