http://chitownsportsramblings.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Free ebooks for Amazon Kindle or Kindle App users. Should I be writing about the Cubs? Yeah, probably. After all they signed Jon Lester to a 6 year deal, and look to be going for it next year. But I'm not going to. Instead I'm going to write about the two ebooks that I have on free promotion from today (12/10/14) to Sunday (12/14/14).

Monday, July 6, 2015. The EPCOT Center Boredom Realization. I finally got it the other day. And then the other day I was listening to the excellent Living Seas audio collection from epcotlegacy.com. When I was a kid I loved The Living Seas. It was still under construction on my first EPCOT trip, but shortly after that my grandfather bought me the definitive EPCOT Center book. Walt Disney’s EPCOT: Creating The New World of Tomorrow. This is so BORING! And I got it. Let’s go to a. Posted by David Landon.

Chitown Sports Ramblings: What an end! (Super Bowl LXIX)
http://chitownsportsramblings.blogspot.com/2015/02/what-end-super-bowl-lxix.html
Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Monday, February 2, 2015. It came down to the wire. A four point lead, taken late in the game, by the Patriots is vulnerable to Russell Wilson et al. An absolutely incredible catch by Kearse. (Bounce, bounce.bounce.catch! Then Lynch's run to put them at around the one yard line, then the final play. So what's it gonna be? And the Seahawks and their fans have to wonde...

Chitown Sports Ramblings: July 2014
http://chitownsportsramblings.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. So NBA free agency signings are winding down, and LeBron James' decision to leave the Heat for his hometown Cavaliers changed the balance of power in the East. Suddenly the Heat are an aging Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh and Luol Deng. Not bad, but not the superteam that they were with LeBron and Wade near his prime. I'm torn. Is it too much?

Chitown Sports Ramblings: Basketball Trade Deadline
http://chitownsportsramblings.blogspot.com/2015/02/basketball-trade-deadline.html
Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Thursday, February 19, 2015. A non-story here in Chicago. No moves were made by the Bulls. Did they need to make a move? Well, not just for the sake of making a move. It appeared to me (with the limited effort I put into looking at the market) there wasn't anything out there that would justify giving up something they already have. Chitown Sports Ramblings: The loss of Minnie Minoso...

Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Monday, March 2, 2015. The loss of Minnie Minoso. Some Chicago sports blog, eh? Favorite player. And I didn't even bother to post when he died. No posts on pitchers and catchers reporting. On Kris Bryant. On much of anything. But I saw on the news last night that White Sox great Minnie Minoso passed away over the weekend, and it made me think about this blog. I d...

Chitown Sports Ramblings: September 2014
http://chitownsportsramblings.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Ramblings and ruminations on Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bulls, the White Sox, the Bears, the Hawks, and anything else Chicago. Wednesday, September 3, 2014. How 'bout them Cubbies? I admit, I lost interest. We don't go to games anymore; it's too expensive for a family of four. Parking's a nightmare around Wrigley and frankly, this "stripping it down to the bone" philosophy of Epstein's and Hoyer's has worn thin. Minor league product, major league prices. It's available on Amazon for $2.9...
