Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Monday, August 07, 2006. In one of my first post I made a comment about how quickly things can change. In that case, it was an unexpected pregnancy for the girl friend of one of the guys at work. Oh well, shouldn't complain (because Kel might see) :). Posted by Scott @ 9:33 pm. Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. View my complete profile. Im Back. Again. Walker, metre reader.

Things I Thunk: October 2004

Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Tuesday, October 26, 2004. My hate for my job has reached all new levels. I don't completely know why I hate it. The people are good (except for my arch nemesis who's been sick a few times in the last few weeks which means a lot of head aches for me). The conditions are good. And I can do the work- it's not as if it's all that difficult. But I can't stand it. For my X-box a week ago ...

Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Monday, July 19, 2004. I didn't see any of the penguins (I was either too early or too late- I was not going there at 5:30 in the morning) but I did see some seals. Though they did look like some rocks so that was a lot a lot fun. After that I went down to the Mornington Peninsular and drove around for a while. I took lots of photos. Posted by Scott @ 8:46 pm. Let's see what happens this time. I did get a trophy at the club's presentation dinner. Most catches. Wasn't expecting it, so it was a nice surprise. Apart from that I haven't done a whole heap. Still have the same job. It still isn't terrible. Who'd have thought? Posted by Scott @ 7:02 pm. Pftht I was interested.

Things I Thunk: The New Novel
http://ifyoublogit.blogspot.com/2008/06/new-novel.html
Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Monday, June 02, 2008. Last post I said I would be starting a new novel soon. I did start it. And yesterday I started the same novel again. I did have about 8k words but wasn't all that happy with most of them. They weren't terrible or anything, I suppose, just not the ones I wanted. So, as I said, I started again. The novel is to be called The Subtle Chains. Shall see, I guess.

Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Monday, July 11, 2005. This has taken me about 3 weeks to write so everything is in present tense though some of it happened a while ago,.). I discovered the other day that someone (other than Heather- hello Heather) was reading my blog. Huh! Near the end I found a job washing cars at the airport. I'm still there- turn up, do my work, go home- but am thinking of finding something...

Well, I've been back at work for two weeks and it's like I never left. And that isn't a good thing. Oh well. Things I Thunk: Nothing Really Exciting
http://ifyoublogit.blogspot.com/2006/03/nothing-really-exciting.html
Ramblings from Scott Robinson- about writing and photography and. stuff. Probably not all that exciting, but there you go. Sunday, March 05, 2006. I'm back. Don't know for how long, but anyway. I also have two novels about 1/2 finished that I have to get back to at some stage. Both were going pretty well when i last visited them but that was a while ago. Still, I will be able to finish them and they are probably more commercial than the last thing I wrote which is a good thing for a 'first' novel.
