Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Closing is mid-Feb, moving Feb 19th. Still work to be done, much more on the outside than the inside.weather has slowed down trim and particularly painting. Two good days for painting this week and then a cold front is dropping the temp 30 degrees.yikes. Forms for back stair paths. Poured concrete.tabby is in there. Thursday, October 31, 2013. Cabinet installation continues. They are doing a great job on constructing and installation. We got a pleasant surprise regarding our flooring.some 100 year old heart pine became available from an old cotton warehouse in Augusta Ga. Traces back to relatives of Eli Whitney. so even a bit of history.We had hoped for some relatively old wood, which has a deep patina that we love, but we had not expected to have it be so old.we're excited. Have one on order. Turning out as planned.

Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Today we had final turnover for our home! 263 days after starting. We're very pleased with the end result and had our first "dinner" at our new home tonight.Take out Pizza and wine.we had a ball. We've not done a very good job in the last few weeks taking pictures.
