Cherry Chip Cake Balls. 1 box cherry chip cupcake mix- cook as directed for a 9×13 cake). 1 can vanilla frosting (16 oz). 1 package chocolate bark ( I used pink and white melting chocolate I found at hobby lobby). 1 After cake is cooked and cooled completely, crumble into large bowl. 2 Mix thoroughly with 1 can frosting. I served it over angel hair pasta along with a salad. 15 pounds shrimp (deveined, peeled, tails removed). 2 T unsalted butter. 2 tsp minced garlic. 1/4 C dry vermouth. 1 T freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2 tsp finely chopped parsley leaves. 1/4 tsp grated lemon zest. Monday, November 22, 2010. My friend Amy made this for our monthly freezer cooking session last month, and it was a hit in our house. So quick and easy to make! I'm actually make this for dinner tonight, serving it with tater tots (for Nate) and green beans. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Sweet and Sour Chicken. I found this on Molly's blog. And it sounded yummy! Had such a great flavor. We served it over white rice with a vegetable side dish of green beans with almonds. 3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 2 eggs, beaten. 1/4 C canola oil. 190; C. sugar. 189; C. vinegar. 1 T soy sauce. 1 tsp garlic salt. Saw this on allrecipes.com. And had to try it. Was in the mood for some comfort food. This was a perfect meal for Evan too.he loved it! 2/3 C chopped onion.

Thursday, July 8, 2010. A group of friends and I participated in a freezer cooking session, and it was a lot of fun! Little did I know how great freezer cooking is! I definitely plan to dedicate a day every couple of weeks to cooking about 5 or so meals. I chose was a spaghetti casserole I had found on Taste of Home, a great recipe magazine. This was so good! Saturday, February 5, 2011. Tater Tot Chili Bake Casserole. Another recipe from Candace Anderson's The Everything Freezer Meals Cookbook. Evan, our picky eater, even loved this! And of course, anything with tater tots in it is a huge hit with Nate! Love that it can go from the freezer into the oven without thawing! 15 lbs lean ground beef (we used 2lbs). 1/2 onion, chopped. 1 (16-oz) can whole kernel corn. 1 (15-oz) can chili with beans (we used turkey chili w/beans). 1 pkg chili seasoning mix.

Thursday, December 2, 2010. Chocolate lovers, come on in! These are so good! I'm trying so hard not to eat them all! I found this recipe in our family cookbook, and my cousin shared this recipe. Don't know why I haven't tried these before! 1 bag of large marshmallows. 1 3/4 cups flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa (Hershey's). 1/2 cup oleo (used unsalted butter). 1 tsp vanilla extract. 2 cups confectioner's surgar. 5 T unsweetened cocoa. 3 T soft oleo (butter). 3 Add dry ingredients to creamed ingredients.

Friday, October 29, 2010. Slow Cooker Pepper Steak. Nate has been complaining of eating chicken all of the time.at home and at the fire house.so.I found a great slow cooker beef recipe. It's actually very healthy, since the cut of meat (sirloin) is lean and low-fat. And a great way to incorporate veggies for my picky guys! Off of allrecipes.com. 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips. Garlic powder to taste. 3 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1 cube beef bouillon. 1/4 cup hot water. 1/2 cup chopped onion.
