At 11yrs my family moved to live in Great Yarmouth Norfolk England where in the summer holidays my school mates used to go swimming every day , so for me to join in I had to” learn to swim”. After taking swimming lessons at the local pool it then became the time for me to take my first certificate for 100 yards.
