It is the Janome DC5100. It has been a lot of fun learning all the features. It has 167 computerized stitches. Bed skirt . first sewing project. When we knew that we'd be using all of the same nursery furniture for our new baby, Joe and I decided that we'd need to purchase a new dresser for Collin's room. You might remember that we refinished a great bed. And at only $70 it was a steal. Here is the dresser before (with the old owners stuff.). To refinish it we followed the same steps used for the bed: sand, clean, prime and paint! Here are Joe and Collin painting together! What you'll find here.

Wednesday, July 13, 2011. No, we didn't add on to our house (although that would be great! But we are adding to our family. Here is the nursery we've put together for baby # 2! The room didn't involve much DIY outside of painting the walls. We were able to re-use all of our nursery furniture from our older son's room and just updated the bedding, storage bins, carpet and window treatments. You'll notice the same dresser.
