http://veyra.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Oh Rose, thou art sick. Mercredi, août 31, 2005. Baker Baker baking a cake. Make me a day. Make me whole again. And I wonder what's in a day. What's in your cake this time. I saw Tori in the Molson Amphitheatre last Saturday night. It started out as being a very wet and rainy place, and I'm glad I didn't try and go to the M&G for it did not happen. Because of the rain. Although I didn't get to hear the sound check, although she played none of my favourite songs from the albums (given that Icicle. And Her...

Oh Rose, thou art sick: mai 2006
http://veyra.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Oh Rose, thou art sick. Dimanche, mai 21, 2006. We went to Paradiso four times in the past two weeks. We saw the dog people, who were a joyous bunch but only half perfect. They did play 'She's Losing It', which was wonderful, naturally. They neglected to play 'Judy and the Dream of Horses' though, which was rather a shame. We also went to see the bands 'Dungen' and 'Xiu Xiu', who were both pretty good. Last night, we saw the fox lady. She was truly amazing! Posted by Oh Rose, thou art sick @ 11:58.

Oh Rose, thou art sick: avril 2006
http://veyra.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Oh Rose, thou art sick. Mardi, avril 25, 2006. If there's one thing Dutch people can't do, it's walking. And I mean really. Not strolling or sauntering or window shopping. Having lived in Canada, I learned that, apparently, I walk really really slowly. But because I lived in Canada so long, I must have gained some leg activity, because people here complain that I walk way to fast nowadays. Posted by Oh Rose, thou art sick @ 21:37. The squirrels made it seem less lonely. Remember seeing The Brothers Grimm?

The SPD's only remaining hope to win the vote is to mobilize some 40 percent of undecided. It's not clear whether Glot...

Berlin Sprouts: The EU Budget and the German Elections
http://berlinsprouts.blogspot.com/2005/05/eu-budget-and-german-elections.html
Comments, analyses, and off-shoots on European politics and culture. Tuesday, May 24, 2005. The EU Budget and the German Elections. Points to a connection with the possible early general elections in Germany and the negotiations about the EU budget. This makes me wonder what kind of election campaign. It is clear that the conservative Christian Democratic Union will win the elections, but at what price? What kind of shadow cabinet. Will Angela Merkel present? Posted by UB at 1:26 PM. Berlin Sprouts: No, nee, ne?
http://berlinsprouts.blogspot.com/2005/06/no-nee-ne.html
Comments, analyses, and off-shoots on European politics and culture. Monday, June 06, 2005. No, nee, ne? Just came back from the eastern Balkans, or to be more concrete, Bulgaria, where people are really worried that the French and Dutch no to the constitutional charter might postpone their entry into the EU. And most of all no to the fact that neither Chirac nor his government could explain why Europe needs a constitution that is not a real basic law but a compilation of do's and don'ts. Ostracised from...
