Arrived in Friday Harbor on the 4th and got a side tie on the outside of the outer breakwater, the only available spot, a bit exposed to boat waves but a Perfect spot for viewing the fireworks in the bay. Where in the world are the Miner's now? Friday, April 26, 2013. Were just a couple weeks away from our northern adventure. Leaving May 8th with Chris's brother Steve and his wife Michelle and Pete and Linda Jung. Three boats following along on similar paths and schedules. Fueled the boat and filled the water tanks today so all that is left is to load the food and clothing and untie from the dock. Think positive thoughts about the weather. more to follow. Where in the world are the Miner's now? Tuesday, July 15, 2014. We're in Port McNeil today, resumptionly and laundry while Jeff gets a blood draw. Last night we stayed in double Bay on Hanson Island. Very nice spot, just a bit exposed to weather and wind. Lots of fog every morning for the last 5 days. But sun In the afternoon. We will keep trying. Cruising Couple Adventures with John and Daleen. Friday, May 16, 2014. 2014 FBYC Cruise to Rosario Resort. We are hosting our first cruise of the 2014 season with our yacht club. We have 10 boats and 1 RV traveling with us. It should be a fun weekend. We have had a full week of blue skies and beautiful weather. It brings us out to get our yards and boats ready for the summer.
