Max is a 5-year-old Border Collie; he has been with his family since he was a pup. Sadly the landlady says he has to go. He has a good temperament and has been much loved. Tia is a little collie cross about a year old. We have no background on her but have found her to be sweet natured. She is good with the children and dogs she has met.

We particularly check security, the time the dog will be left (not more than 4 hours per day) and the ambience of the new home. We offer advice on diet, veterinary and behavioural treatment, and all aspects of dog and puppy care. We insist on all bitches being spayed, arranging for this ourselves if necessary, and we advise castration for dogs. Click here for more dogs in need.

Prior to that it had operated since 1984 under the name of Animal Shelter in tandem with Katz Castle. Whilst the Objects of the Charity are widely drawn, our present activity comprises the re-homing of dogs no longer required by their present owners. Where necessary, such dogs will be taken into our care and looked after until a new home is found. Mr Michael Mallinson (Chairman).
