Doing what we do. 8230;living where we are. Vulnerability is beautiful, Until it is me. This post has been in my head for months now. I’m not sure how it will land on the page and where it will go. But, it’s been inside, trying to form coherency and come out. But then, it was me. I was the one who needed to be caught. Who needed the arms locked around and under me. And a lot of them. Guy gone. Mom suffering. Family adding. Business growing. Little ones needing. All. At. Once. I guess it’s not that vulner...

Having been absolutely certain (to the point of anxiety because nothing was ready! We parked blocks from the birth center (for the free parking! Who thought of this? Doing what we do. 8230;living where we are. Fragrance of Joy, Scent of Sorrow. June 15, 2015. June 22, 2015. Today, as I walked through Trader Joe’s, I had the semi-horrifying thought that I miss deployment. I saw a mom of three, weary eyes, baby hanging from her body, two others walking beside her cart. She had the determined, focused … Continue reading Fragrance of Joy, Scent of Sorrow. Blog at WordPress.com.

She's competing in the 8&Under age group and doing really well despite being only 7. But then again, we've had her in swim classes and private lessons since she was 3, so maybe we shouldn't be surprised? Posted by M and E. Shes a great swimmer! All those lessons and time in the pool are paying off!

Sunday, June 7, 2015. I spent the morning with a fun group of ladies as we participated in the Woodinville Wine Ride! We rode 15 miles around the north end of Lake Washington, stopped at the break point for yummy wine and snacks, then zipped 15 miles back to Woodinville! I had a blast! And it's the longest stretch I've cycled since getting my bike - 30 miles! Took us just a touch over 2 hours. And I LOVED every second of it! We finished the event with a tasty lunch at Redhook Brewery! Posted by M and E.
